Learning, Teaching & Training Activity

PARIS

3 - 5 April 2024

From April 3rd to 5th, our partner Solution: Solidarité & Inclusion hosted in Paris a transformative Learning, Teaching, Training Activity (LTTA) as part of our Erasmus+ project. Eight dedicated educators, including two representatives each from Poland, France, Italy, and Serbia, gathered to engage in a dynamic #TrainTheTrainers activity focused on innovative teaching strategies and the #SustainableDevelopmentGoals2030.

The event was a vibrant mix of brainstorming sessions, pilot workshops, and immersive learning experiences. Participants explored and tested a range of non-formal education techniques, such as game-based learning, role-playing, guided self-reflection, group discussions, walk-and-talks, and guided tours. These activities aimed to equip educators with new tools to raise awareness on global issues and promote sustainable development.

By the end of the LTTA, participants were well-prepared to return to their communities as catalysts for change, ready to apply and disseminate their newly acquired knowledge. Their mission is to foster greater community engagement with the SDGs, encouraging practical actions that drive awareness and sustainability. This pivotal educational event enhanced their professional growth and empowered them to make a significant impact in their local contexts.

All participants used green travel options to reach Paris for the LTTA event. For example, the Italian team traveled from Campania to Paris via train and Euro 6 GPL car, minimizing their CO2 footprint. During their stay, they opted for green-certified accommodations, further reducing their environmental impact. The group emphasized sustainability in their travel and stay and by prefering local sourced meals. A highlight of the trip was a visit to La Reciclerie, an old train station transformed into a sustainability hub. Participants explored urban farming, composting, and tool-sharing initiatives, gaining practical insights into sustainable living. This experience underscores the importance of eco-friendly choices in every aspect of our journey, inspiring all to contribute to a greener future.
